The first part of the project included research on the fall trends and understanding the state of fashion almost a year into the pandemic. 

With this research I was able to conceptualise an idea for an editorial shoot. In this case, I decided to ridicule the normcore trend which has been prevalent in fashion, generally by people who are not ready to experiment with their clothes. 

To achieve the same I decided to use irony and juxtaposition. I wanted to accompany normcore styling with bizarre makeup and distorted imagery. 

Because this was a home shoot, I completed the whole process from research to ideation to the actual shoot and editing by myself. It was a very tough project, but the end result seems worthy.
